OBJECTIVE​

To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and the State of New York.

To speak, act and work for the mutual benefit and protection of its members.​

To advance the status of the Volunteer Fire Police in New York State by: Holding meetings for the presentation and discussion of problems affecting the Volunteer Fire Police;

Publishing papers, reports, sharing knowledge, and experience of value to Volunteer Fire Police;

Developing and publishing standards, rules and recommended practices to be followed by Volunteer Fire Police throughout the State of New York;

Encouraging the mutual exchange of information;

Cooperating with Government agencies in Fire Police matters;

Cooperating with all other Firefighter Associations;

And advocating more effective legislative safeguard for Volunteer Fire Police.
